„A Celebration in the Midst of War“ is an immersive theater experience which takes participants back to November 25th, 1914, on the birthday of Grand Duke Ernst Ludwig, which allows the participants to get firsthand experience on how the World War I disrupted the art and cultural norms of Mathildenhöhe.
Participants will also witness how art and culture was a pivotal source of resilience and hope for the community during the war. They will get the chance to live this historical moment, gain a deeper understanding of the strength and spirit of the people in the times of conflict.
