Abstract
Dreaming is something most humans should have experienced once in their life. Different dreams occur randomly in your brain but however, you are not able fully to control your dreams. Dreams can be sweet, horrible, gentle, surprising, and inspirational. Considering media technologies are all improving nowadays, which make impossible into possible: a world with no currency but a QR code to represent your bank account; check your future apartment online at home; there are various examples of how the improvement of media and technologies are empowering human, especially in the perspective of efficiency, do more in less time. Yet, humans are still not able to control everything, dream is one of the examples. A dream is similar to emotion, born from humans, but humans do not literally have control over them fully.
In this thesis, research starts from the definition of a dream and how dreams connect to creativity, followed by how a human acts after dreams. Then comes with the studies of dream recall and practice for dream memorization, as well as how people read dreams as insights. At the end of the research, there will be methods of memorization and enhancing memorization with technologies. The next step in this thesis is to create a tool for people to review themselves via dreams, the tool also aims at providing a platform for humans to store their dream, and empower humans a chance to dive back into their dream in terms of virtual reality. Last but not least, there will be a prototype application with all the required functions to be provided at the end, in order to provide a more clear concept of the project.
